CSRwire.com Features Daily Challenge

Posted by Stephanie Miller on January 20th, 2009

We’re very excited to announce that Daily Challenge was featured on the homepage of www.csrwire.com. That was yesterday, Monday January 19, so if you click on the link today, you’ll find their new `pick’ is the new President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. Good thing we took a screen shot to prove it!

The Corporate Social Responsibility Newswire is “the leading source of corporate social responsibility and sustainability news, reports and information.” They are on our side, taking an interest in making the world a better place in their own way, through communicating how companies and agencies are doing good.

They define CSR as: “the integration of business operations and values, whereby the interests of all stakeholders including investors, customers, employees, the community and the environment are reflected in the company’s policies and actions.”

Daily Challenge is extremely proud to be a CSRwire.com pick of the day - especially when succeeded by President Obama! What an honour!

Hi to all of you at Daily Challenge, (especially YOU - you know who you are)

You all deserve this and so much more. Your site is brilliant and human… it is what we were born to do, but at the same time, it’s nice to have a place to record acts of kindness…

CSRwire pick of the day… fantastic.

I believe in what you are doing… that likely speaks for all who will use the site.

    blessings
    Dave

Thank you SO much, Dave, for your kind words. They are very much appreciated.

I just to make it crystal clear, though: Daily Challenge is the baby of the whole Do Gooder community. There’s no ego here. The bigger picture is Daily Challenge becoming the largest network of Do Gooders on the Planet so that it creates sustainable change. It will be a place where caring people all over the world gather to raise their awareness, share ideas for Do Gooding, take action, and then talk about their Do Good stories (that they went out and created) with one another.

Thank you, Dave and all, for being a part of this community and movement of positive change!
