The Power of a Sing-Along
Posted by Stephanie Miller on May 13th, 2009When Dee Turner, Do Gooder and friend, forwarded us this video of a sing-along and said it was perfect for the Do Gooder Daily, I was skeptical. But I was so wrong! I couldn’t help but feel the positive vibe and sense of community, and the song’s so good I caught myself singing, too!
If you want a little pick-me-up today, check out this 4 minute video of people gathered at Trafalger Square singing “Hey Jude” by the Beetles, shot two weeks ago on April 30:
Thanks for this inspiring video, Dee!

May 18th, 2009 at 2:36 pmIt’s my pleasure, Darius. This engaging video made me feel warm and fuzzy too. The fact that both of us, and so many others could enjoy this timeless piece by the Beatles (sp) ~ from the time of its original release, to your grade nine graduation decades later, and again today in 2009 makes this a classic song, uniting people of all ages, all stages. As a baby boomer, I was particularly struck by the number of YOUNG people who were so connected.
